Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 21, 2026
1. What we collect
- Your email address. We use it to send your one-time sign-in link and to match your paid status. There is no password to store.
- Subscription status. Paid access is handled by Substack and its payment processor. We never receive or store your card number. We receive your email and subscription status from Substack so we can grant you access.
- Content you create. The watchlists and positions you save in the dashboard, so we can show them back to you.
- A session cookie. One cookie keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary for the Service to work.
- Basic server logs. Our host records standard logs (IP address, time, page, browser type) for security and debugging.
2. How we use it
- Sign you in and confirm your subscription tier.
- Show your dashboard, watchlists, and saved positions.
- Send transactional emails such as your sign-in link.
- Keep the Service secure and fix problems.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not use your information to make trades for you, and we do not sell it to anyone.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers we need to run the Service, and only what each needs:
| Provider | Purpose | Data |
|---|---|---|
| Substack | Subscriptions & billing | Email, subscription status |
| Resend | Sending sign-in emails | Email address |
| Hosting provider | Running the Service | Server logs (IP, request data) |
We may also disclose information if required by law, or if the Service is ever transferred as part of a business sale, in which case we will notify you first.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your account information and saved content while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we must keep it for legal or security reasons. Server logs are kept per our host's standard retention.
5. How we protect it
All traffic is encrypted with TLS/HTTPS. Sign-in links are single-use and expire quickly. Payment details are handled entirely by our payment processor and never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
6. Your choices
You can update your profile in the app at any time. To request a copy of your data or to delete your account, email us at the address below and we will act within a reasonable time. If you are a California resident, you may request to know, delete, or opt out of any “sale” of personal information; we do not sell personal information.
7. Where we operate
The Service is operated from and intended for users in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and consent to your information being processed in the United States.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-party links
The Service links to third parties such as our Substack newsletter and market-data sources. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
